Clarice Wilson Garden Club is responsible for the maintenance of several public gardens, monuments and wildlife habitats in the Greenville, SC area. We strive to use these public spaces to educate and bring joy to the community. Blue Star and Gold Star Monuments
The Blue Star and Gold star monuments are our tribute to US Veterans and the families of fallen soldiers. Our club members hold Veteran's Day and Memorial Day ceremonies at these monuments and the Herdklotz park location has a patriotic garden we maintain.
Bluebird Nesting Boxes
This is a 15 box Bluebird Trail amongst the trees of the historic Kilgore-Lewis House, an accredited arboretum .
Butterfly Garden
This garden was created to attract adult native butterflies; giving them a place that offers food plants, water source and coverage for female butterflies to lay eggs to encourage population growth of approx. 100 native butterfly species.
Carolina Fence Educational Garden
This handicap friendly ethnobiology and native plant garden was created as an educational garden to learn about the history, culture and benefits of plants that the early settlers in Greenville County would have experienced.
Plant it Pink Therapy Garden
This Plant-it-Pink garden outside Prisma Health Cancer Institute is a legacy garden created to give hope and calm to those coping with cancer.
